I’m so pleased with this colour. It’s a gorgeous royal blue, that can show up very bright or deep, depending on the light.
without a topcoat it has a leather-y/matte finish.
It’s in the removal, however, that you find out why it’s so cheap.
Stained my cuticles blue! for like 2 days!
whatever, it’ll come in handy I’m sure

mmm if only the bracelet was real tiffany’s…
Day 06: Blue (normally violet, switched days)
I had a pretty big interview so I kept it simple, but still chose a blue that makes a bit of a statement, just by being so subdued. Does that make any sense? Maybe not.
Whatever, a cloudy blue, and I love it.
China Glaze, Secret Peri-wink-le
This morning I was set on using my Secret Peri-wink-le CG polish, and originally I had wanted to try my hand at a ruffian nail.
I started with one coat of Revlon’s Silver Dollar
and then freehanded the blue on top.. without using guides I ended up having different amounts of silver on each finger, but I was still happy with it.
The problem here is that I had to use 2-3 coats of the blue to cover the silver. and after using my Seche Vite it just wasn’t setting properly. 5 fingers were messed within 15min. And so I started again, but went for the tribal nail I just posted instead =]

I need to work on my straight lines but I’m pretty happy with the outcome =]

I like this manicure for my bad days.
Instead of putting on one base coat of my Nail Hardener I put on 2.
However two coats of that hardener and 2 coats of a polish and a top coat make long-term wear impossible, So I just add one coat of polish on the tip =]
*note* you can tell it’s a bad day by looking at the tips.. all chipped and uneven
*2nd note* I’m still trying to figure out how to keep my polish from running along the french guides. I’ll work on straightening those lines!
China Glaze, Frost Bite
This was my first attempt at a tape manicure.
I really just wanted to have fun with it, little messy, but I was happy with it.
I found the tutorial for this (along with a few other fun looks!) at Chloe’s Nails .
